Faculty Identity

The mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives of the Research Institute for Basic Health Sciences define its future direction and commitment to excellence in education, research, and healthcare.

Faculty Mission

The mission of this research institute is to establish a leading and reference ecosystem for the generation of both fundamental and applied knowledge in the field of health sciences, by building a robust and intelligent bridge between basic sciences and clinical applications. We define our mission through the paradigm of knowledge translation, aiming to decode complex biological mechanisms in the laboratory and transfer novel findings to the patient bedside, thereby enhancing the quality of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The institute is committed to leveraging convergent technologies to create a dynamic environment for attracting, mentoring, and hosting talented international students and scholars. Through scientific diplomacy and frontier collaborative research projects, it seeks to address global health challenges at the cutting edge of science. Our mission also includes the training of distinguished, responsible, and innovation-oriented researchers who apply their expertise toward knowledge-based wealth creation, localization of medical products, and the overall improvement of public health.

Faculty Vision
