Following the approval of the Faculty of Paramedical Sciences, the paramedical departments separated from the Faculty of Medicine in 2008, officially establishing this faculty as an independent institution. In the 2008–2009 academic year, undergraduate student admissions began for Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) programs in Anesthesiology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Radiologic Technology. This was followed by the launch of the post-diploma (B.Sc. completion) program in Anesthesiology in the 2009–2010 academic year. The establishment of graduate (postgraduate) programs in Anesthesiology and Medical Imaging is currently under review. Additionally, following diligent follow-ups within Macro-Region 7, approval has been secured for launching undergraduate programs in Health Information Technology and Physiotherapy
