Another Honor for Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences: Placing in the Top List of Times Higher Education World University Rankings

In line with the plans made to improve the rank of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences in the international ranking systems and to collect, translate, and upload information and documents in the relevant time frame in 2023, which was done by the experts of the books and publications office of the Deputy of Research and Technology of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences, according to the latest ranking report of young universities (Young University Rankings 2024) in the Times international ranking database, Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences was ranked 300-350 among the world's young universities. Also, Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences was ranked 1000-1500 among universities worldwide and ranked 17th among Iranian universities in the first year of applying for University Impact Rankings 2024.

Times Young University Rankings 2024 evaluate universities that are 50 years old or less. The ranking considers the indicators of teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry revenue. These rankings aim to highlight the achievements of young universities and provide a different perspective on traditional university rankings, which often favor older institutions with more excellent reputations. The Times Young University Rankings 2024 allow newer institutions to present their progress and innovation and demonstrate that they significantly impact higher education despite their relatively young age.

In terms of Asia University Rankings 2024, based on the indicators of the number of international students, gender ratio of students, education, research, and industry, Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences was ranked 400-500 among Asian universities.

Regarding the University Impact Rankings 2024, it should be noted that this ranking is an annual evaluation of universities worldwide that measures the impact of their research and education on community and the environment. This ranking differs from traditional ranking systems focusing mainly on academic reputation and research excellence, as it also considers the social and economic impact of institutions' work. University Impact Rankings 2024 aims to provide a more comprehensive and broader view of the higher education sector and its role in addressing the world's most important challenges.
