1. Education Rules and Regulations
- Academic System: All universities in the country, including SKUMS, follow a unified education system. Each lesson is assigned a certain number of units, and students are only allowed to enroll in lessons that align with these units.
- Academic Year:
- Each semester consists of 17 weeks.
- The summer semester lasts for 6 weeks.
2. Attendance Rules
- Mandatory Attendance: Students must attend all sessions.
- Theoretical lessons: Absence should not exceed 4/17 of the total lessons per week.
- Practical lessons: Absence should not exceed 2/17 per week.
- Internships: Absence should not exceed 1/10 of the lessons per week.
- If a student exceeds these limits, their score will be considered zero.
- Absence in Exams: Absence is allowed within the specified limits if justified with documented evidence and recognized by the professor.
3. Course Modifications (Add/Remove Units)
- Students may add up to 2 courses within two weeks of the semester. They may also remove or change up to 2 courses, provided the total number of units does not exceed the limit.
- Absence during the first two weeks is not allowed unless it is an emergency, in which case one theoretical course can be removed, subject to approval.
4. Evaluation Criteria
- Assessment: Based on attendance, classroom activity, educational participation, and exam results.
- Grades: Scores are awarded between 0 and 20.
- The minimum passing score for theoretical and practical courses is 10/20, and for internships it is 12/20.
- Students failing a compulsory course must retake it at the earliest opportunity.
5. Conditional Registration
- A student's average grade must be at least 12; otherwise, their registration for the next semester will be conditional.
6. Withdrawal Process
- Withdrawal involves several steps including submitting an application, obtaining counseling, and receiving approval from the International Students Committee. After approval, a settlement form must be completed and submitted.

7. Disciplinary Regulations
- Behavior: Students should not engage in behavior that threatens, harms, or intimidates others, or violates public safety, morality, or decency.
- Prohibited Activities:
- No carrying or consuming alcohol, drugs, or any harmful substances.
- No obscene or pornographic materials allowed on campus.
- Smoking is prohibited within the University.
8. Conduct Guidelines
- Dress Code:
- Students should wear modest and appropriate clothing.
- Female students should dress in accordance with Islamic law, covering the body except the face and hands.
- Male students should also adhere to modest dress requirements.
- Tight-fitting, transparent, or revealing clothing is not allowed.
- Social Interaction:
- Students should maintain respect and modesty in their interactions with the opposite gender.
- Close proximity or physical contact between unmarried couples is strictly prohibited.
9. Discipline for Violations
- Disciplinary action will be taken for violations, including misconduct related to attire, behavior, or actions that contradict University values.
- Disciplinary Authority: The authority will review complaints and violations, and the student may be summoned to explain their actions.
