As part of the educational activities of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences (SKUMS), international MSc students in Medical-Surgical Nursing participated in an educational visit to the university’s Clinical Skills Center.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with the center’s educational facilities, clinical simulation equipment, and practical training resources used in nursing education. During the visit, students were introduced to the role of the Clinical Skills Center in developing essential nursing competencies, improving clinical decision-making, and preparing students for safe and effective patient care.

The program also highlighted the importance of simulation-based education in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice. Through exposure to the center’s learning environment, students gained a better understanding of how clinical skills can be practiced and strengthened in a controlled setting before being applied in real clinical environments.

This educational visit provided an opportunity for international students to become more familiar with the university’s educational infrastructure and its approaches to practical nursing education. Such activities contribute to enhancing clinical competence, promoting patient safety, and supporting the professional development of future nurses.

The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery remains committed to providing international students with valuable educational experiences that strengthen their theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and readiness for professional nursing practice.
