As a student at Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences (SKUMS), you will have the opportunity to develop your academic and practical skills in various medical fields. If you are considering joining us, the following information will help you navigate the application process smoothly.

Documents must be submitted in PDF format, with each file not exceeding 3 MB, and none of the files should be password-protected.

Applications to SKUMS are accepted year-round. All applicants must complete the online application form or by Email (internationalaffairs.skums@gmail.com); documents sent by post will not be considered. Please ensure your materials reach the Admissions Office early enough to be reviewed for the intended semester. To begin your submission, please visit the Application Form section.

Once admitted to SKUMS, you will be officially enrolled. After receiving your visa and entering Iran, you will be directed to the Office of Educational Affairs to complete your registration and pay the annual tuition fee.

Please note: withdrawing from the program may result in full tuition charges for the year, along with related fees (accommodation, utilities, internet, health insurance, and registration fees) based on university regulations.

Each year, the Admissions Office evaluates qualified applicants and awards scholarships to selected candidates. You can find more details in the Scholarships section.

Only non-Iranian students are eligible to apply to the SKUMS International Student Committee (ISC).

Important Notice:
Iranian citizens, including applicants with dual citizenship, cannot apply to the ISC. They must participate in the National Entrance Examination (Konkur).

When applying to Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences (SKUMS), you are required to submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV). A CV is a concise overview of your academic background, work experience, skills, and personal interests, allowing the admissions committee to gain a clear understanding of your qualifications.

Although many CV formats and templates are available online, applicants should use only the official SKUMS CV templates for the sake of consistency.

Start your letter by clearly recommending the applicant. For example:
It is my great pleasure to recommend [Name of Candidate] for admission to the [Program] at Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences (SKUMS).

Introduce yourself and specify the nature and duration of your acquaintance with the applicant. For example:
As his/her [employer/professor/teacher], I have known [Name of Candidate] for the past [number of years].

Describe the applicant’s academic strengths, extracurricular achievements, and notable personal traits such as commitment, teamwork, perseverance, communication skills, language proficiency, or computer skills that distinguish them as an exceptional candidate.
