The Vice-chancellor of Education of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari University of Medical Sciences announced obtaining the first rank in the country in the specialty board of pediatric medicine.

Explaining this news, Dr. Morteza Dehghan said: Dr. Houshang Salehitali from Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences won the first rank in the country in the 71st round of the medical specialty diploma exam (Medical Specialist Board) in pediatrics.

He reminded that this exam was held in August-September 2024, with 398 candidates from all over the country competing, and Dr. Houshang Salehitali won the first rank with a final score of 142.333.

Dr. Dehghan continued: Dr. Salehitali was introduced to the country's National Elite Foundation with this success.

According to him, during the last eight years, the Department of Pediatrics of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences has won four national ranks in the exams for the specialized medical diploma (specialized medical board) in pediatrics.

It is worth mentioning that the Department of Pediatrics of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences, established in 2009, currently has 22 faculty members and professors, 60 medical students, 25 interns, and 10 specialized assistants.
